There are many different types of fixed-wing / three axis microlight available and I can advise you on which would suit you and your budget. Shared ownership is also becoming increasingly popular and I could probably put you in touch with the members of a syndicate.

P&M Aviation are one of the largest manufacturers of flexwing / weightshift microlights in the world. They are renowned for their innovative design and build quality.
I am a P&M agent and Check Pilot. I have all their 2-seat flexwing microlight models available for demonstration (Quik, Quik GT450 and the furiously fast QuikR, Quik GTR and PulsR).

Learning to fly a flexwing in the U.K. you will definitely need a flying suit. You can borrow one of mine, but at some point you might like to buy one of your own. I sell and stock Ozee and Fly Mike flying suits.
